abstract |
The present invention relates to a composition comprising a nucleic acid and a chemical compound that forms a star structure that characterizes three or more stems extending from the reaction center. The stem is formed by a nucleic acid duplex and the chemical compound is formed at the reaction center as a reaction product of three or more chemical groups. The composition has the advantage of promoting the reaction by providing close proximity between the chemical groups at the reaction center. The present invention also relates to a method of preparing the composition. The method does not need to synthesize multiple templates and has the advantage of being independent of codon / anti-codon recognition for the encoded molecule to be formed. |
