abstract The present invention relates to a control method of a photographing apparatus and a control device and a control program for automatically determining a photographing mode so that a clearer image can be obtained. The control circuit 18 assumes that the first exposure time for capturing one input image is assumed to be photographed in a first mode in which one input image is picked up to generate one output image. If it is less than or equal to the first threshold value, it is determined to photograph in the first mode. In addition, it is assumed that the control circuit 18 performs shooting in the second mode in which a plurality of input images are continuously imaged to generate one output image when the first exposure time is not equal to or less than the first threshold value. When the 2nd exposure time which image | captures each input image of a some sheets at the time of making it is the 2nd threshold value or less, it determines with taking a photography in a 2nd mode. The present invention can be applied to, for example, a digital camera.
