abstract |
A low-toxic, stable gold plating solution having performance comparable to a cyan-based gold plating solution contains iodine and / or iodide ions, gold ions, and polyhydric alcohols having 4 or more carbon atoms. The polyhydric alcohol having 4 or more carbon atoms may be diethylene glycol or triethylene glycol. Content of C4 or more polyhydric alcohol of a gold plating solution is 10 to 90 weight% normally. The gold plating solution may contain water. |
