abstract The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a light diffusing sheet for a backlight unit of a liquid crystal display device and a light diffusing sheet manufactured according to the present invention, wherein a cylindrical metal sheet having a plurality of hemispherical recesses having different sizes is fixed to a surface thereof. The photocurable resin composition is coated on either the pattern roll or the pattern belt (A) and the transparent base material (B), and the coating surface is brought into contact with the other of the above (A) and (B) to perform the compression hardening process. After performing, releasing a transparent substrate film having a plurality of hemispherical convex portions of different sizes from a pattern roll or a pattern belt, wherein the cylindrical metal sheet beads a substrate having a plurality of beads of different sizes embedded therein. With the inner layer wound around the cylindrical frame and connecting the joints to fix it, remove the cylindrical frame and mold the metal layer on the inner surface with the bead layer. The light diffusing sheet for a backlight unit manufactured by a process characterized in that the sheet is obtained by releasing from a transparent substrate having beads embedded therein. Compared with this, the luminance is high, and there is no problem of foreign matter mixing due to the dropping of beads during cutting of the sheet, and the optical viewing angle can be widened by increasing the light diffusivity.
