The present invention discloses a novel negative electrode active material for a lithium secondary battery, a manufacturing method thereof, and a lithium secondary battery including the same. The negative electrode active material for a lithium secondary battery disclosed in the present invention is composed of graphite on the surface and a lithium reactive metal inside.
