The manufacturing method of molten iron and its manufacturing apparatus |
abstract |
The upper carbonaceous material (H) is charged onto the hearth of the rotary hearth furnace (14), and the carbonaceous material pellet (D) containing powdered iron ore (A) and powdered coal (B) is placed on the upper carbonaceous material (H). By passing the hearth into the rotary hearth furnace 14, the carbonaceous material-containing pellet D is heated and reduced to solid-reduced iron F, and the upper carbonaceous material H is heated and dried to be char. Subsequently, these solid reduced irons (F) and char (G) are charged into the iron bath melting furnace 16 without substantially cooling, and oxygen gas is blown to dissolve the solid reduced iron (F) to melt molten iron (K). Get At least a part of the exhaust gas M of the iron bath melting furnace 16 is used as fuel gas of the rotary hearth furnace 14 after cooling and damping. |
