abstract |
The present invention is 2-Ada from 1-adamantanol, which uses, as a catalyst, at least one acid catalyst selected from a Lewis acid and a solid acid coexisting at least one selected from the group consisting of carboxylic acid, sulfonic acid and phosphoric acid. Method of preparing mantanol and 2-adamantanone. By this method, 2-adamantanol and 2-adamantanone can be selectively and efficiently produced without using sulfuric acid as a catalyst. The method is suitable for mass production due to the labor savings of the waste acid treatment process and the drastic reduction of reaction time. |
