abstract The present invention relates to a thermoplastic resin composition and a method for preparing the same, and more particularly, to a thermoplastic resin composition comprising 1 to 25 parts by weight of an inorganic antimicrobial dispersion based on 100 parts by weight of an organic latex. By introducing the inorganic antimicrobial component into the dispersion to effectively induce dispersion of the inorganic antimicrobial agent, there is an effect of providing a thermoplastic resin composition having the effect of improving the antimicrobial properties without mechanical property degradation and discoloration phenomenon.
