abstract Provided is a wet cast cement composition of improved freeze melting durability using gas generating additives blended directly in a mixture and in-situ gas evolution with any polymeric microspheres. The gas generating additives and polymeric microspheres provide void spaces in the substrate of the material, and such void spaces serve to increase the freeze thaw durability of the material.
