titleOfInvention | Two step immersion method of synthetic fiber |
abstract | The present invention is a two-stage immersion method of a synthetic fiber comprising first immersing the fiber with an aqueous preliminary immersion composition and then immersing the fiber with a resorcinol-formaldehyde latex (RFL) composition, wherein the preimmersion composition is trifunctional. It includes a blocked isocyanate and latex having the above isocyanate group, and characterized in that the weight ratio of blocked isocyanate and latex is 9 to 0.7, preferably 4 to 1. The invention further relates to preliminary immersion compositions for immersing synthetic fibers comprising blocked trifunctional or higher isocyanate compounds and latex and further comprising water, emulsifiers and 2-vinyl pyridine copolymers. Trifunctional isocyanate compounds, preferably HDI-trimers (1), RFL adhesives (2) and in-situ vulcanized rubber compounds (3) wherein the fibers or cords are distributed on some or all of the surface, and such fibers or A composite product of cord and rubber.n n n Aqueous pre-immersion compositions, non-epoxide-based adhesives, RFLs, composite products, tires. |
