abstract The photosensitive element of the present invention includes a support film 10, a cushion layer 12 formed on the support film 10, and a photosensitive layer 14 having a thickness of 10 μm or less formed on the cushion layer 12. The photosensitive layer 14 contains a binder polymer having a weight average molecular weight of 10,000 to 100,000, a first photopolymerizable compound having at least one polymerizable ethylenically unsaturated bond in a molecule, and a first photopolymerization initiator. And the cushion layer 12 is a layer comprising a second photopolymerizable compound having at least one polymerizable ethylenically unsaturated bond and a second photopolymerization initiator in a molecule thereof.
