titleOfInvention | Biodegradable polymer-ligand conjugates and cell subpopulations, cryopreservation of cells, their use in culture and transplantation |
abstract | The present invention relates to a biodegradable particle-cell composition having at least one biodegradable particle, at least one receptor covalently bound to the particle, and cells immobilized on the receptor. The particles are polylactide, polylactide-lysine copolymer, polylactide-lysine-polyethylene glycol copolymer, starch, or collagen. The receptor may be an antibody, fragment of an antibody, avidin, streptavidin, or biotin moiety. In addition, the particles may have an extracellular matrix other than collagen. The particle-cell composition can be used for selection of cells from a population, cell culture of fixed-dependent cells, cryopreservation of fixed-dependent cells, and transplantation as cell therapy.n n n n none |
