Method for manufacturing nanostructured composite electrode by electrophoretic electrodeposition and product manufactured by the method |
abstract |
A method for producing a nanostructured composite electrode by electrophoretic electrodeposition and a product produced by the method are presented. The conductive material and active material are suspended in a stable suspension in solution by sonication. The conductive material includes functional carbon multi-wall nanotubes. Active materials include synthetic nanoparticles. Surface charge is applied to the active material by adding the electrolyte to a stable suspension. At least two electrodes are introduced into the stable suspension in opposite parallel directions. A direct current electric field is formed between the electrodes sufficient to form the conductive material and the active material.n n n n electrode |
