The presence and amount of the antibody of interest in the bloodstream or other biological sample of the patient can serve as an important clinical or other analysis or diagnostic tool. For example, ELISA methods, and kits for such assays, as well as anti-idiotype antibodies and hybridomas that produce them, have been developed to detect antibody levels in biological samples derived from animal models and human patients. |
