Provided are methods for efficiently recovering or preparing high optical purity lactide through depolymerization of polylactic acid or derivatives thereof for chemical recycling of polylactic acid or derivatives thereof, or resin compositions comprising the same. This method is characterized in that the lactide is recovered by thermally decomposing a mixture of polylactic acid or a derivative thereof with aluminum hydroxide at a melting temperature range of not less than 320 ° C. |
