Corneal epithelial sheet, preparation method thereof, and transplantation method using the same |
abstract |
The present invention provides a corneal epithelial sheet which can be expected to have a high therapeutic effect and high in safety at the time of transplantation. The corneal epithelial sheet of the present invention comprises the steps of (a) preparing corneal epithelial cells, (b) culturing human fibroblasts in collagen gel, (c) inoculating or mounting the corneal epithelial cells on the collagen gel. And (d) culturing and propagating the corneal epithelial cells in the absence of heterologous animal cells. |
