The present invention relates to surface-modified nanoparticulate metal oxides (metal is selected from the group consisting of aluminum, cerium, iron, titanium, zinc and zirconium). The present invention provides a surface modification of A) from 60 to 99 mol% N-vinyllactam, B) b 1 ) C 8 -C 30 -alkyl esters of monoethylenically unsaturated C 3 -C 8 -carboxylic acids; b 2 ) N-alkyl-substituted or N, N-dialkyl-substituted amides of acrylic acid or methacrylic acid with a C 8 -C 18 -alkyl radical, or; b 3 ) a coating by copolymer P consisting of 1 to 40% by weight of a monomer selected from the group of vinyl esters of aliphatic C 8 -C 30 -carboxylic acids, or a mixture of said monomers.n n n Surface-Modified Nanoparticulate Metal Oxides, Cosmetic Formulations, UV-Filters |
