titleOfInvention Method of Purifying Amino Acids
abstract The present invention provides a cation exchange process of (1) desalting and purifying an aqueous alkali metal salt aqueous solution of an amino acid using a mobile phase continuous ion exchange apparatus comprising a cation exchange resin to obtain a crude aqueous amino acid solution; And (2) an iminodicarboxylic acid, which is a coproduct byproduct, is adsorbed and removed from the obtained crude amino acid aqueous solution by adsorbing the weakly basic anion exchange resin, and the crude amino acid is also adsorbed to the breakthrough point of the weakly basic anion exchange resin. A method for purifying an amino acid from an aqueous alkali metal salt solution of an amino acid including an anion exchange step of passing an aqueous solution is provided.
