The present invention provides a method for producing 3-methyl-2-butenyl acetate, and a prepared 3-methyl acetate, which include reacting 3-methyl-2-buten-1-ol and acetic anhydride in the presence of an inorganic base catalyst. A tablet comprising contacting 2-butenyl with an aqueous solution of (A) an alkali metal hydrogen sulfite salt, or (B) contacting an aqueous solution of a base, or providing both of steps (A) and (B) It relates to a process for producing 3-methyl-2-butenyl acetate. |
