abstract | The present invention relates to a method for recovering gold from an aqueous waste liquid comprising a water soluble sulfur containing gold compound and an apparatus for recovering gold in the method.n n n An object of the present invention is to provide a method which can recover gold efficiently and simply even if electrolysis is employed. Another object of the invention is to provide an apparatus used for recovering gold in this method.n n n As a solution, in recovering gold from an aqueous waste liquid containing a water-soluble sulfur-containing gold compound, after adjusting the aqueous waste liquid to a strong base, all of the gold precipitated on the surface of the cathode by electrolyzing the aqueous waste liquid. Alternatively, some of them are dropped down to recover. |
