The present invention relates to a noble metal catalyst for hydrocarbon conversion, a process for preparing the same based on gas phase method, the use of the catalyst in reactions such as ring opening, isomerization, alkylation, hydrocarbon reforming, dry reforming, hydrogenation and dehydrogenation reactions and the preparation of intermediate distillates. It is about a method. The noble metal catalyst comprises a Group VIII metal selected from platinum, palladium, ruthenium, rhodium, iridium or mixtures or combinations thereof on the carrier, which catalyst activates carbon monoxide at temperatures below 323K. |
