abstract Damping elements for golf clubs are disclosed. This damping element is used to reduce the amplitude of vibration in the golf club. The damping element is located in the interior space of the shaft of the golf club and may have a shape corresponding to the shape of the space in the shaft. The damping element may have an elongate form extending along at least a portion of the shaft, and the damping element may have the form of a fluid filled chamber or foam structure.
