titleOfInvention How to Bond Getter Material to Surface for Use in Electronic Devices
abstract The present invention relates to a method of adhering a getter material to a surface used to remove and control contaminant gases in an environment around an active layer in an electronic device. The getter material is applied from the getter composition comprising getter particles, inorganic binders and liquid media to produce a composition having a consistency that can be deposited on the surface in any desired thickness and pattern. The surface on which the getter composition is deposited is heated separately from the electronic device to activate the getter material to adhere the particles to the surface without the need for additional adhesive layers or other materials.
