Biocompatibility and biostable coating on the surface of medical products |
abstract |
The present invention relates to a medical product containing at least one biocompatible, biostable polysulfone coating. The polysulfone coating allows the elution of at least one antiproliferative, anti-inflammatory, anti-inflammatory and / or antithrombotic agent to be introduced and / or applied while allowing different agent concentrations to be spatially separated due to the layer system of the biostable polymer. It is carried out through a mixture of at least one hydrophilic polymer in an amount suitable to control the kinetics. The present invention also discloses a method for producing the medical article and its use, particularly as a stent for preventing restenosis. |
