abstract The present invention reduces the effects of furactosyl lysines and provides a simple and efficient method for measuring glycated proteins, furactosyl peptides or furactosyl amino acids and reagents for measurement. In a sample characterized in that the product obtained by specifically reacting furactosyl peptide or furactosyl amino acid at pH 4.0 to 7.0 with an enzyme for measuring furactosyl peptide or furactosyl amino acid is measured at pH 4.0 to 7.0. Provided are a method for reducing the effects of furactosyl lysine in the measurement of furactosyl peptide or furactosylamino acid, and a method for measuring glycated protein using the same.
