abstract | The present invention relates to NtTLP1 ( Nicotiana tabacum Thaumatin-like protein 1) isolated from Nicotiana tabacum having antiviral activity against Cucumber mosaic virus (CMV), an antiviral agent comprising the same and NtTLP1. The present invention relates to a transgenic tobacco plant which is transformed with a pMBP2 recombinant vector containing a full-length cDNA and overexpresses NtTLP1, and specifically, NtTLP1 of the present invention is CMV 1a when infected with CMV. The NtTLP1 of the present invention can be used as an antiviral agent for CMV infection because it interacts with proteins and induces increased expression of NtTLP1, thereby prominently inhibiting sensitivity to CMV infection. |
