Surgical clip appliers and methods are provided for applying surgical clips to blood vessels, ducts, shunts, and the like during surgical procedures. In one exemplary embodiment, there is provided a surgical clip applier having a housing having a trigger movably coupled and an elongated shaft having opposite jaws extending from the housing and formed at its distal end. do.
