abstract |
The present invention relates to platinum present in an amount (weight) of from about 1 g / ft 3 to about 20 g / ft 3 in a diesel particle filter (volume), and an amount of up to about 750 g / ft 3 in a diesel particle filter (volume). It relates to a catalyst for use in diesel particle filters comprising cerium oxide (in weight) present, wherein the platinum and cerium oxide are present in the diesel particle filter at a ratio of about 10 to about 75 parts by weight of cerium oxide / platinum. |
