| abstract | The present invention provides an improved drain pipe assembly having a drain pipe stopper assembly in operative communication with the actuating assembly. The drain pipe stopper assembly includes an elongated one-piece housing having a longitudinally connected body having proximal and distal ends of the housing. At the proximal distal end, the flange portion has a fluid outlet for delivering fluid from the sanitary vessel to the lumen of the housing. The housing body has an inner circumferential surface of a predetermined inner diameter and an outer circumferential surface of a predetermined outer diameter. The linearly reciprocating drain pipe stopper includes a closure head with a long shaft suspended from it. The stopper reciprocates between a fully closed position where the closure head blocks the fluid outlet and a fully open position that remains unobstructed of the fluid outlet. In order for the operation of the drain pipe bending member to affect the reciprocating motion of the drain pipe stopper, a fixed area provided on the outer housing surface includes an accommodating area formed therewith to enable operative communication between the drain pipe stopper assembly and the operation assembly.n n n n Drainpipe Assembly, Wash Basin, Sink |
