Cyclone, slurry sorting apparatus having same, slurry feeding system and method using the apparatus |
abstract |
The cyclone includes a body and a swirl flow outlet member. The body includes an inlet passage through which the fluid is introduced, a cylindrical passage having an upper end connected to the inlet passage to discharge the first particles in the fluid, and a second particle having a specific gravity greater than that of the first particle and the upper end connected to the lower end of the cylindrical passage. It has a conical passageway with an open bottom that exits. The swirl flow outlet member is inserted at the top of the cylindrical passage. A first discharge passage through which the first particles swinging up from the cylindrical passage is discharged is formed along the vertical direction in the swirl flow exit member. The length of the cylindrical passageway in the vertical direction is 0.5 to 2 times the diameter of the cylindrical passage, and the length of the conical passageway in the vertical direction is 5 to 9 times the diameter of the cylindrical passage. |
