titleOfInvention | Method for improving polarity of EPDM using radical polymerization |
abstract | The present invention relates to a method for improving the polarity of ethylene propylene diene terpolymer (EPDM) by using a radical polymerization method. More specifically, in EPDM, which has weak adhesive and adhesive properties, radicals are formed in diene of EPDM. It relates to a method for improving the polarity of EPDM comprising the step of reacting the polar monomer after.n n n The present invention uses a reaction initiator to generate radicals in dienes of EPDM to radically polymerize and then react the polar monomers to improve the polarity of EPDM and to prevent cross-linking reactions and degradation of other chain backbones. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for improving the polarity of EPDM.n n n In the conventional method of improving the polarity of EPDM of the present invention, the polarity improving method of EPDM,n n n (1) reacting an initiator with EPDM to generate free radicals in diene of EPDM and performing radical polymerization;n n n (2) reacting a polar monomer with the diene of IMPDIM free radicals. |
