An electrophotographic photosensitive member including an asymmetric naphthalenetetracarboxylic acid diimide derivative including a nitro group, an electrophotographic image forming apparatus employing the same, and the like are disclosed. Since the asymmetric naphthalenetetracarboxylic acid diimide derivative including the nitro group described above has excellent solubility in organic solvents and compatibility with binder resins as well as electron transport ability, the electrophotographic photosensitive member manufactured using the same exhibits excellent electrostatic properties. . |
