The present invention relates to a polypeptide containing an amino acid sequence structurally related to SEQ ID NO: 1, the use of the polypeptide and an expression system for producing the polypeptide. SEQ ID NO: 1 is full-length S. A truncated derivative of the S. aureus polypeptide. Such full length polypeptides are termed full length “ORF0657n” herein. Polypeptides containing the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO. It has been shown to provide a protective immune response against Aureus. |
