abstract |
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide an electronic component having excellent airtightness and mountability of a sealing body, low volatilization of a driving electrolyte, and superior reliability, and for storing a capacitor element 11 impregnated with a driving electrolyte. In an aluminum electrolytic capacitor comprising a cylindrical metal case 12 having a bottom portion and a sealing body 13 having elasticity for sealing an opening of the metal case 12, the sealing body 13 contains 30 to ethylene. It is an aluminum electrolytic capacitor which contains 70 weight% of ethylene-propylene-diene terpolymer rubber (EPDM) as a main component, and the glass transition temperature of the sealing body 13 is -70 to -30 degreeC. |
