| abstract |
The present invention relates to a novel delivery system of cyclopropene, wherein the composition comprising the cyclopropene and molecular encapsulating agent complex further comprises an additional component that provides release of cyclopropene from the molecular encapsulating agent with moist air. . The present invention also provides methods of releasing cyclopropene from such compositions as well as methods of delivering a cyclopropene compound to plants that inhibit ethylene reactions in the plant. |
