Catalyst compositions for use in molding polyurethane products include gelling catalysts, trimerization catalysts and cure accelerators. The gelling catalyst is a tertiary amine, mono (tertiary amino) urea, bis (tertiary amino) urea, or any combination thereof. Any known trimerization catalyst can be used. The cure accelerator may be a diol having at least one primary hydroxy group and having between 5 and 17 chain backbone atoms selected from carbon, oxygen, or both between the hydroxy groups, provided that at least 5 of the backbone atoms are carbon. Alternatively or additionally, the curing accelerator may be a polyol having at least 3 hydroxyl groups, at least two of which are primary hydroxy groups and having a molecular weight of 90-400 g / mol. By using the catalyst composition, it is possible to delay the initiation of the polyurethane molding reaction for producing the polyurethane part and / or reduce the demolding time.n n n Polyurethane foam, demolding time, cream time |
