titleOfInvention | Dinitrile Manufacturing Method |
abstract | The present invention relates to a method for producing dinitrile involving hydrogen cyanation of an unsaturated nitrile compound in the presence of a metal element in the zero oxidation state and a catalyst based on an organophosphorus ligand. More specifically, the present invention relates to a process for the recovery of a catalyst for the hydrogenation of dinitrile with dinitrile from a hydrogen cyanide medium. The process of the present invention consists of the following steps: controlling the concentration of unsaturated nitrile in the medium provided from the hydrogen cyanide reaction to obtain a weight concentration of unsaturated nitrile less than 20% in the reaction medium; Then introducing the above-mentioned medium into the decanting step into two phases, namely the upper and lower layers. The lower layer contains mainly the catalyst system and the upper layer contains essentially nitrile. |
