abstract The present invention relates to monobromoperfluoroketones, monohydromonobromoperfluoroketones, (perfluoroalkoxy) monobromoperfluoroketones, (fluoroalkoxy) monobromoperfluoroketones, and monoclones. It relates to a novel fluoroketone compound selected from the group consisting of Loromonobromoperfluoroketone. These fluoroketone compounds are used for arson, fire control and extinguishing. These fluoroketone compounds are also used as additives to reduce or eliminate the flammability of commonly flammable working fluids such as refrigerants, blowing agents, solvents, aerosol propellants, and sterilizing agents.
