The present invention relates to a new use of imodine, and more particularly, to a novel angiogenesis inhibitor comprising imodine as an active ingredient.n n n Imodine inhibits the proliferation, migration, invasion and angiogenesis of endothelial cells in vitro and has been shown to be an antiangiogenic factor because of its anti-angiogenic effects in vivo . Therefore, imodine may be widely used for the treatment of diseases such as diabetes mellitus, solid cancer, arthritis, psoriasis, purulent granulomas, and neovascular glaucoma caused by angiogenesis. |
