abstract The present invention relates to a novel lactic acid bacteria having immune enhancing activity, and more particularly, to Bifidobacterium pseudocatenulatum having immune enhancing activity. The Bifidobacterium pseudocatenulatum according to the present invention not only promotes cross-presentation of dendritic cells to exogenous antigens but also directly activates macrophages to induce the production of NO and TNF-α.
