The present invention relates to a polypeptide comprising a novel heparin-binding site derived from human tenacin-C (TN) and derivatives thereof, and specifically, heparan sulfate proteoglycan (heparan sulfate). proteoglycan (HSPG) binding site and increases HSPG-dependent cell adhesion activity to tenasin-C type III domain 5 (TNIII5), including a part of the amino acid sequence of tenasin-C type III domain 4 (TNIII4) The present invention relates to a polypeptide and a derivative thereof. The polypeptide of the present invention can be usefully used as a cell adhesion peptide because it binds with heparin with high affinity and enhances cell adhesion. |
