titleOfInvention Autonomous nerve activity monitoring device and method for sound card
abstract The present invention measures the ECG by a single amplification chip, a low pass filter, and a sound card driven by a surface electrode and a low-power DC power source, and inputs it to a computer to obtain heart rate fluctuations from the ECG. To a method and an apparatus.n n n This device has a disposable surface electrode (1) made of silver chloride and desorption tape to measure electrocardiogram, with the positive electrode on the right side of the rib, the anode on the left side, and the ground electrode on the top of the right chest. Since the electrocardiogram signal obtained through the surface electrode (1) is weak as a few millivolts, it is amplified through the signal amplifier (2) and low pass filtered, and then the sound card (4) built into the computer (5) through the input line (3). The electrocardiogram is displayed in real time by the built-in display program and the autonomic nerve activity can be measured by frequency analysis of heart rate variability by the autoregressive model method and the maximum entropy method.n n n The effect of the present invention is a low-cost, compact measurement device consisting of a surface electrode, a single differential amplifier chip of ultra-low power driving, a low pass filter, and a sound card, which enables simple and accurate measurement of ECG and heart rate fluctuations. The frequency analysis of heart rate variability by the method can easily measure cardiac autonomic nerve activity.
