| abstract |
The present invention is directed to a method and apparatus for monitoring the performance of a solar generator including a solar cell array installed in a building. In one embodiment, the device comprises a device for providing an indication signal of solar irradiance, circuitry for calculating an operating performance signal using at least the measured value of the illuminance signal and the amount of power provided to the load from the array, the performance signal. It includes a radio for broadcasting and a portable unit for receiving a performance signal from the radio and visually displaying the performance signal, power production and power usage. |
