abstract The present invention relates to a GST-ALS fusion protein.n n n The present invention also provides a recombinant expression vector by (1) preparing an ALS coding DNA sequence, (2) operably linking the DNA sequence to a vector comprising a Glutathione-S-Transferase (GST) coding DNA sequence. (3) transforming or transfecting the host with the recombinant expression vector, (4) culturing the resulting transformant or transfectant under medium and conditions suitable for causing the DNA sequence to be expressed. And (5) isolating and purifying the desired GST-ALS fusion protein from the culture thereof.n n n In addition, the present invention relates to a method for preparing an ALS protein, further comprising the step of separating and purifying the ALS protein by cutting the GST-ALS fusion protein prepared by the above method.
