abstract |
The conductive adhesive composition comprises a crosslinkable adhesive component, a fluxing agent, and a conductive metal, which has a metal oxide on its surface. Adhesive components include fluxing agents comprising epoxy resins and phenols. The phenol reacts with the metal oxide on the conductive metal surface to remove at least some of the metal oxide from the conductive metal surface. As a result, the conductivity of the conductive adhesive composition is increased. This composition is particularly useful at the interface between electrical or electronic devices. The composition is coated to physically and electrically connect the required devices and to continuously block the production of metal oxides. |
