abstract |
The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of a compound comprising two nitrile functional groups. More specifically, the invention relates to a process for the preparation of nitrile compounds from compounds having nitrile functional groups and ethylenic unsaturations in the presence of a catalyst system comprising an organometallic complex and a promoter of Lewis acid type. The process of the present invention involves the treatment of a reaction medium resulting from hydrocyanation, which allows the metal element to be extracted and recovered from Lewis acid. |
