titleOfInvention K―ras OLIGONUCLEOTIDE MICROARRAY AND METHOD FOR DETECTING K―ras MUTATIONS EMPLOYING SAME
abstract The present invention relates to a K- Ras oligonucleotide microarray in which oligonucleotides designed to search for various mutations that can occur in mutant hot-spot areas of the K- Ras gene are immobilized on the surface of a solid substrate. The present invention relates to a method of preparing an array and a method of testing mutations in the K- ras gene by a competitive DNA hybridization (CDH) method. The K- Ras oligonucleotide microarray of the present invention comprises an oligonucleotide selectively designed for a specific mutant codon site of the K- Ras gene, and the test method of the present invention using the same is accurate and efficient by applying a competitive DNA hybridization method. It can be useful for the detection of mutations in the K- ras gene, the study of signaling systems related to the K- ras gene, and the study of cancer mechanisms.
