The present invention discloses an O / W emulsifying agent comprising (a) solid palm oil glycerides and (b) potassium cetyl phosphate, wherein the potassium cetyl phosphate is 40 to 80% by weight based on the total weight of the emulsifying agent. Also disclosed are corresponding O / W emulsions containing from 0.25 to 15% by weight of the aqueous phase, the oil phase dispersed in the aqueous phase and the aforementioned O / W emulsion. Also disclosed are methods of preparing O / W emulsions of this type. |
