abstract |
The present invention relates to solid concentrate compositions and corresponding methods for use in promoting chain extension in polymers, including chain extenders and non-reactive carrier resins or co-reactive carrier resins. The thickening composition prevents premature reaction of the chain extender in the molding machine by increasing the dispersion of the chain extender through the polymer to prevent gelation and promote uniform chain extension. |
