titleOfInvention Method for removing impurities in copper alloy melt
abstract BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a method for removing impurities in a molten copper alloy, the method for removing impurities in a copper alloy molten metal for removing impurities from a copper and copper alloy scrap raw material molten metal, comprising: (a) in aluminum (Al) and silicon (Si); Dissolving a copper alloy raw material containing at least one element in a melting furnace to provide a liquid copper alloy raw material; And (b) at least one oxide selected from copper oxide (CuO), cuprous oxide (Cu 2 O), and zinc oxide (ZnO) is added to the melting furnace, and at least one of the aluminum (Al) and silicon (Si). And removing at least one element of aluminum (Al) and silicon (Si) through an oxidation reaction with an element. This makes it possible to apply zinc to low melting copper alloys, such as brass, because it does not evaporate too much, and to produce low-cost molten aluminum (Si) or silicon (Si) -containing raw materials without generating new impurities such as iron (Fe) residues. It is possible to efficiently remove aluminum (Al) or silicon (Si) impurities.
